V has his last soccer game yesterday. When the coach gave him his medal, he said, "The Most Improved". :) This was V's first experience with soccer, and he really did get much better.
Afterwards a couple of the families, including the coaches went for pizza. The topic of travel soccer team came up. And so did the price tag. The amount amazed me. I will put V in Spring Soccer and see how we go from there. The team he was on was 1st and 2nd grades. So he was probably the youngest on the team.
Then it also came up about basketball. I have been planning on getting him into swimming lessons again after soccer was over. I had attempted to register him last week, when there were a few openings left. I had to request and account and now the spots are all filled. So I looked up the basketball program. There is a 2 month program, and he would be in the 4-6 yr olds. So he would one of the oldest, but since he has never played, the proper program for him. So I will probably sign him up for that too.
