I found out today that one of my best friends hasn't been a friend at all. I hate breaking up with friends. But they will probably walk away all on their own, they now know, what I know.
I swear it hasn't gotten any easier to make/maintain friends as an adult as it was as a child.
This doesn't help my trust issues at all.
i'm really sorry. sadly, i think a lot of women find out their 'friends' aren't the people they have thought/hoped they were OR that the friendship isn't healthy for them. while it stings, know that at least you are doing the RIGHT thing for yourself and putting distance between the negative influence. take care!
ReplyDeleteoh no.. I have definitely experienced quite a bit of this in the last year. It is VERY hard and sad to go through - I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. :(
